Donate to the American Cetacean Society

There are a number of ways to support the American Cetacean Society (ACS). Many supporters donate once a year, while others choose to donate more frequently (monthly, quarterly, etc.,). Fortunately, it is possible for you to help cetaceans (whales, dolphins, porpoises) many ways--choose to donate online, through planned giving, and by mail or phone.

When you choose to donate regularly, you helps the American Cetacean Society focus on the most important issues facing whales, dolphins, and porpoises around the world. Enrolling in a monthly giving plan guarantees a consistent stream of support that is so vital to protecting cetaceans and their habitats.

The American Cetacean Society is a nonprofit 501(c)(3) Public Benefit Corporation (EIN/tax ID number: 95-2512764) organized under the laws of California, United States. Donations must be received by the American Cetacean Society on, or before, December 31st in order to be deductible in the current tax year.

Donations Support Protection & Participation

The legacy of the American Cetacean Society is that it has played a pivotal role in protecting whales, dolphins, porpoises, and their habitats since 1967. ACS knows you not only care about cetaceans but are also motivated to help protect whales, dolphins and porpoises and their habitat. Another of our efforts is to send a representative to the International Whaling Commission Conference. If you want to dedicate your donation to that particular effort please let us know.

ACS accepts contributions by personal check, corporate check, or credit card by mail. Please write down your information and be sure to include your check or credit card information and it will be manually processed through ACS.
