ACS-SF East Bay
ACSSC-SF Bay kicked off in 2012 at California State University, East Bay through Cara Gallagher's leadership with a strong focus on science backed conservation and science education. Cara is now finishing her PhD at Aurhus University in Denmark on ecological modeling and harbor porpoises. The group focused on marine debris, plastic pollution and cetacean science. ACS-SF Bay students also organized documentary film screenings and organized events for students to hone their science communication skills.
